We are proud to be taking part in the Allergy Certified program. Before a product can carry the Allergy Certified label, toxicologists reviews all ingredients, regardless of their percentage in the product. On top of that they get information about every ingredient’s ingredient. Every ingredient must meet strict criteria for human health. When you see the AllergyCertified label on a product you can be sure this is a product where there is minimal risk of developing allergy due to usage.
General requirements
In order to be AllergyCertified a product needs to pass an allergy risk assessment. For this assessment we need full information and knowledge about the product. The information needed for the allergy assessment is: A copy of the products safety assessment, and INCI names/chemical names, CAS numbers, the exact concentrations, information about impurities and MSDS. A trusted toxicologist makes the allergy assessment and all information given to this person will be held confidential and only be used for the assessment. If needed we can make a secrecy agreement for this.
Chemicals not allowed
Chemicals classified with these R and H- sentences are generelly not allowed in AllergyCertified products unless the chemical is used in a specific product or in such low concentration that the SCCS and/or our advisory board assess it as safe.
